WHO WE ARE

We are currently updating our team details and more will follow on this page soon.
Lizzy Wilkinson-Duck
Director (Top Duck)

I have always had a huge passion for working with children and watching them learn and develop. From the age of 18 I worked with the local council running playschemes and youth groups. It was then that I realised I wanted to tailor my career path into playwork and sports coaching.

I attended St Mary’s University and completed my degree in Sports Sciences and Psychology before attending Brunel and completing a Masters in Sports Psychology.

Many of the modules I undertook were based around developmental psychology, child psychology and sports coaching. Whilst working for the council I started to volunteer as a football coach at the weekends and then gained my Level 1 and 2 badges.

With my football coaching qualifications under my belt I then worked for a company that primarily delivered sports within primary schools in Hertfordshire. I worked here for 9 years in total and completed numerous courses including swim teaching, PTLLS Level 4 and an NVQ Level 3 in youth work and playwork. These additional courses meant that I changed the angle of what I was delivering and enabled me to open my own childcare business.

In November 2016 Dynamic Ducks was formed. We started by delivering sports sessions before, during and after school and then applied for our Ofsted registration; which we received in June 2017. The breakfast and after school club has grown from strength to strength and we are incredibly proud of what has been achieved. I am fortunate to have an extremely reliable, enthusiastic and motivated team that go above and beyond to ensure that all children attending are engaged and having a great time.
